Packages

Selling packages provides you with the opportunity to make a larger sale upfront, and deliver the value of the package to your clients. Cloudstudios makes it easy to launch and sell packages with a link, and manage your clients who have purchased the package. Clients who have purchased a package from you can easily register for events or appointments that the package is connected to. Clients can also track and manage their packages in their Client Account, when they are ‘signed-in’ to your business.

There are 3 types of packages that you can create and sell through your Cloudstudios Dashboard:

Appointment Packages: Allowing your client to purchase an appointment service in bulk. For example, buy 10 'Personal Training' sessions for $1000.

Event Packages: Allowing your client to purchase a package upfront and gain access to a series of selected events / classes that you are offering. Ex. $150 for 10 ‘Yoga in the park classes’.

General Packages: When creating a package you don’t have to connect it to your events or appointments that you offer through Cloudstudios. If you sell a large ticket item, like “Weekend Retreat'', or anything that you feel doesnt fit into Events or Appointments, you can set up a package into a payment link and circulate it to your clients.

:cloud: Cloud Tip: A Package can be applied to an Appointment OR Events. You cannot sell package credits that combine access to your Appointments AND Events.

Creating Event Packages

Event packages allow you to get creative on how you want to sell your events. For example you could sell a workshop (‘Buy my 6 week program’) or it could simply be a value pack for ‘Monday Morning Yoga’. You can launch multiple event packages, each with different value propositions.

Head over to Create New →  Packages to get started. Create your new package by:

  • Inputting package details (name, description)
  • Selecting the price and number of credits you are selling in the package (1 credit = 1 event/appointment session)

Next, select whether you would like to include existing events into the package. If you do not have any upcoming events, you can add the package to your events later by selecting the checkbox from the ‘event’ builder.

You can add or remove events to or from a package at any time. When creating an events package, there is no limit to the number of events you can include.

Event Packages listed on your ‘Event Booking Page’:

When you sell an Event, your client will have the ability to ‘Select Purchase Option’. If you attach a package to an event, and they have not purchased a package they will have the ability to select from the purchase options that you make available (ex. single purchase, or package purchase).

If they already own a package that the event is included in, they will be able to apply their package credit to register for the event. This credit will then be deducted from their account automatically.

You can sell packages directly through your ‘event booking’ links! You can also set your events to only be accessible by package holders, and not have a drop in price. This is perfect if you are looking to sell a workshop or course.

:cloud: Cloud Tip: You cannot sell package credits that combine access to your appointments AND events.

Creating Appointment Packages

When launching a package you can select if you want to attach it to an existing appointment service. You can only apply one package to one appointment service. I.e you cannot have one package connected to two or more different appointment services.

Follow the same steps as you would when creating an events package (above).

:cloud:Cloud Tip: For Appointments, you can also create/attach packages as you create a new appointment service.

Appointment Packages listed on your ‘Appointment Booking Page’:

When you sell an appointment, your client will have the ability to ‘Select Purchase Option’. If you attach a package to an appointment, and they have not purchased a package they will have the ability to select from the purchase options that you make available (ex. single purchase, or package purchase).

If they already own an appointment package that the appointment is included in, they will be able to apply their package credit to register for the appointment. This credit will then be deducted from their account automatically if your scheduling tool is enabled.

If your scheduling tool is disabled, they will not be prompted to purchase a new package until all the credits are removed from their account.

You can sell packages directly through your ‘appointment booking’ links! You can also set your appointments to only be accessible by package holders, and not have a drop in price.

General purpose packages:

You may look to sell a package and not connect it to your Appointments or Events on Cloudstudios. You can launch, save, and sell a package without connecting it to Events or an Appointment. This allows you the flexibility and creativity to sell and deliver whatever type of value you want to your clients and easily track your client purchases and credits in your dashboard.

For example, you might sell an upcoming retreat, or course or series, and not want it listed on your events page. Use the packages tool to create a purchase link to distribute to your clients!

Sharing your entire package list

Looking to share an entire list of all the packages you offer? This is a great link for your clients to constantly view your current list of active package offerings for events and appointments.

  • Select ‘Copy Link’ directly from your packages card in your Dashboard
  • Share that link wherever you’re promoting your package deals via text, email, newsletter, on your website and in your link-in-bio!

Managing client credits

You can manage your clients’ credits from the ‘Customers’ tab in your dashboard. When your client registers for Events or Appointments using credits it automatically reduces their credit count in your dashboard and reflects in their client account, so you and your client are always in sync.

For Appointments, with scheduling toggled OFF (scheduling offline) managing credits is simple too!

  • Simply go to the ‘Customers’ tab in your dashboard,
  • Select your client who you’re scheduling with
  • Click ‘Manage’ on the appointment package
  • Reduce the number of credits on file.

This is the same for managing credits if you’re selling ‘General Packages’.

Packages will appear in both your packages page and in the  Event and Appointment Details Pages that they are connected to.
